'The Art of Exploration'
FREE admission
On loan from the Scott Polar Research Institute this exhibition features high quality framed reproductions of Sir Wally Herbert's stunning paintings.  His pictures reflect not only the beauty of the polar landscape, but also the men who travelled through it.  The exhibition also features amazing objects such as Sir Wally's pocket sextant and compass and his painting gear.  There is also some of his clothing plus the original sledge from 1969.
