Strathspey Railway

Capture the atmosphere of the highlands railway scene during the 1950’s and early 60’s on a 10 mile journey alongside the Central Highlands of Scotland.

Join the train at the beautifully restored Aviemore Station, then relax and enjoy the view of heather moorland and the Cairngorm mountain range. The train stops at picturesque Boat of Garten, before continuing its journey to Broomhill known to many as Glenbogle from the BBC TV series "Monarch of the Glen".

Services on the Strathspey Railway are steam operated (except under exceptional circumstances). Visitors are welcome to join at any station on route.
