About Us

The Scottish Transport Heritage Marketing Association (STHMA) was formed to develop a joint marketing opportunity for all forms of heritage transport visitor attractions throughout Scotland. STHMA was formed as a Company Limited by Guarantee in December 2004.

The main aim of the STHMA is to promote Scottish Heritage Transport Attractions to visitors to Scotland and provide them with information on all its members.

We currently have 9 members with a diverse range of Scottish Transport Heritage, they comprise:

• Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway (SRPS)
• Discovery Point (Dundee Heritage Trust)
• Glasgow Museum of Transport
• Grampian Transport Museum
• Leadhills & Wanlockhead Railway
• Mull & West Highland Railway
• Museum of Flight
• Sir Walter Scott Steamship
• Strathspey Railway

So you can see the range of attractions we have on offer with steam railways and steam ships to Concorde and some of the best transport museums and attractions in Scotland, there is something for everyone on the Scottish Transport Trail, explore, discover and enjoy.
